Serving God and getting closer to God can transform your life. This blog is gonna give you the desire to want to have an intimate relationship with God.
Getting close to God and allowing him to fully intervene in my life has brought me so much peace. The battles I face are not mine to fight but his. Sometimes we tend to be out of line with God will for our life because we are not close to him and he has no way of communicating to us as to what is in his heart. The closer you are to God, the more he becomes open to you.
He Gives You Life
–First things first is if you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do so. I do not know what you currently believe in and they’re so many different God’s that people believe in but at the end of the day there is only one God who is above all other Gods. Let me kindly remind you that the LORD is above all other Gods and you can’t get to him if you don’t first go though Jesus Christ. “Jesus said to him, I’m the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.(John 14:6)
–God is the life because he is the vine and we are the branch. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches” (John 15:5). Everybody knows that whenever a branch is removed from the trunk of the tree, it automatically dies because it’s no longer connected to the source of life. By itself it can’t get the water that keeps it alive. As us humans it’s the same way, the moment we are far from God we become dead because we are no longer connected to the source of life.
He Becomes The Light Of Your Life
–If you ever want to know if you are living a righteous life , get closer to God and read the Bible. Some people are un aware of their iniquity because they are living in the dark. Going to church, serving God, without having a personal relationship with him can set yourself up for failure.
The best thing I ever did since becoming saved was seeking God for myself with the intention of him convicting me. Spending time with God has allowed him to shine his light in my life by addressing all the sins that lies deep within me that I never knew were there. “But now you must be holy in everything you do, jut as God who chose you is holy (1 Peter 1:15)”
Your Life Is Saved
– I have come to an understanding why Jesus asked us to not do certain things and why he made the 10 commandments for us. In doing so it was out of love and it was a way for us to stay safe. Imagine a world where people actually did what God has commanded us to do, there would be no crime, no abortion, and people would be thriving in life because there would be no back bitting. Every sin we commit has consequences that comes with it. “If you want to save your life, you will destroy it. But if you give up your life for me, you will save it”. (Mathew 16:25-26) This verse is telling us to leave our flesh desires behind so we can start living a righteous life. Nobody came to Jesus and remain the same way they were but then again it’s by you making that decision. He is not going to force you to change but all I know is if you’re truly wanting to walk with God , they are certain things that you will need to give up because he is righteous.
